Notes from a Small Island follows Bill Bryson on one last trip around Britain before he returns to the USA. For seven weeks he travels round the mainland using only public transport. From Lands End to John O’Groats via Milton Keynes and Weston-super-Mare, not to mention other great British towns, Bryson relishes in such bizarre British fancies as cricket, cups of tea, warm beer, bollards, fish and chips and a total obsession with the weather! He realises what it is he loves so much about the country he lived in for twenty years.
The brilliant Steve Steen (Whose Line is it Anyway, Comedy Store Players) and director Paul Hodson (The Lost Continent, Fever Pitch) team up for this hilarious adaptation of Notes from a Small Island.
