Catherine Hooper

General Manager

Catherine’s current focus is the general management of shows in pre-production and development across a range of Short Street’s production slate.

With over 10 years general management experience, Catherine has managed shows spanning musical theatre, plays, circus, immersive and other multi-disciplinary productions across the West End, on tour and internationally. Highlights during her time at Short Street Productions/MRL include TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, La Soireé, Billy Elliot UK Tour, ONCE the Musical, Punchdrunk’s The Drowned Man, the BAM transfer of A Doll’s House, Warhorse UK Tour and Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense

Catherine has been on the Stage One Apprentice scheme and also worked at Sonia Friedman Productions assisting on the opening of The Book of Mormon and Old Times.

Prior to working in the West End, she was Associate Producer for Teatro Vivo, an interactive theatre company specialising in working outside of traditional venues and creating theatrical adventures; collaborating with communities and audiences to turn everyday environments into magical worlds. Producing shows in libraries, high streets, museums, supermarkets and more.
