Poppy Parker currently works on TINA – The Tina Turner Musical (UK & Ireland Tour) and various development projects.
Previous projects at Short Street include Waiting for Godot (Theatre Royal Haymarket).
She has previously worked in both the commercial and subsidised sectors at Cardboard Citizens, Greene Light Stage, Jonathan Church Theatre Productions, Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester and the Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse on shows including & Juliet (Shaftesbury), Tammy Faye (Almeida), Singin’ in the Rain (Sadlers Wells & UK Tour), the output of the Young Everyman Playhouse and multiple development workshops.
Her work with young people at the Liverpool Everyman contributed to her being named on the Liverpool Echo’s list of ‘100 Most Inspiring Women on Merseyside’ in 2019. She has recently been awarded an MA in Arts Policy and Management at Birkbeck College with Merit. She is an alumnus of Stage One, the National Youth Theatre, and the Cardiff-based Act One theatre company, for which she was named president in 2015.
